About

Nicole Brouhard

Dear Wolf Pack,

It is with great honor and excitement that I join the pack. I am ready to lead our school and I am ready to build upon the foundation that many of you have been a part of.

I am a graduate of the University of North Florida "Go Ospreys" with my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I obtained my Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2014. I have been a resident of Lake County since 2004 and have resided in the Mount Dora area with my husband and son since 2007. We are avid foodies, travelers, dog lovers, and baseball fanatics!

I began my career in education at Triangle Elementary School in 2007 as a fourth-grade teacher. During my time as an educator, I have been a math and science coach, a Curriculum Resource Teacher, and an Instructional Dean. In 2016 I became the Assistant Principal of Cypress Ridge Elementary School. As Assistant Principal, I have worked to ensure all students achieve success. During my time there I helped the school earn a school grade of “A” in 2018 and a Florida School of Excellence designation in 2019.

I truly believe in the power of collaboration to ensure all students receive high-quality instruction within a positive and highly engaging environment. I want Sorrento Elementary to be a place where every student, staff, and parent is proud to call “home”. I too believe that success is expected and will continue to share that same passion that began the day Sorrento Elementary came to be.
